| Missing Nanny Located |
The West Vancouver Police Department would like to thank the media for their assistance in locating a West Vancouver Nanny who was reported missing yesterday. The Nanny has been located and is safe and well. The Nanny and the family are now treating this as a private matter. A copy of the original media release is attached below.
The West Vancouver Police Department is looking to the public for assistance in tracing a live-in Nanny who has been reported missing from her Caulfeild home. On 2008 July 7th, the family who employ Trudy Lynn PITCHER, as a live-in Nanny reported her missing after she failed to show up for a long awaited function. Ms. PITCHER was last seen when she was dropped off at the Horseshoe Bay ferry Terminal yesterday, on July 6th at 0900hrs to meet some friends from London, England.
Since that time Ms. PITCHER has not been seen. Ms. PITCHER is reported to have been very keen to see the Cirque du Soleil show, which she failed to show up for last night.
It is reported that this behaviour is completely out of character for Ms. PITCHER who has worked in the Caulfield area since January 2008.
A photo of Ms. PITCHER is attached to this news release.
Mss PITCHER is described as a white female, 5’6”, weighing 150lbs. She has short reddish blonde hair with dark roots and wears a toe ring. She also has a mixture of a South African and British accent.
Any person who may have any information as to her whereabouts is asked to contact the West Vancouver police Department at 604 925 7300 and quote file # 08-7958
