For the fourth consecutive year, in partnership with the Squamish Nation Caring for Our Youth Committee, the West Vancouver Police department will once again be co sponsoring the annual Sex Abuse Rally.

On Sunday July 13th, the West Vancouver Police Department, members of the Squamish Nation, political figures and members of the public will join together and walk in honour and support of the victims and survivors of Sex Abuse and all forms of domestic violence who suffer in silence.

The rally is intended to show the survivors of abuse that they are not alone. There are many people who care about them and are prepared to walk in their name.

The rally will start at 1000hrs on Sunday July 13th from St Paul’s Church 424 West Esplanade, North Vancouver and conclude at Capilano Park on Homulchsen, the Capilano Reserve.

The rally is open to all citizens who have been touched by abuse in some way and to those who support and care for them.
