| Flag person in critical condition after contact with vehicle |
Flag person struck and injured - Police and WorkSafe BC investigating
On June 17, 2011 at 03:15 p.m. a 54 year female employed with Van Isle Traffic Services was directing traffic along Highway #1 when she was struck by a vehicle approaching the BC Ferry Terminal in Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver.
As a result of coming in contact with the vehicle , the flag person sustained serious head injuries. She was transported to Lions Gate Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
The West Vancouver Police along with WorkSafe BC are investigating the incident.
