West Vancouver Police would like to remind the public that West Vancouver Schools will be starting on Tuesday September 7th, 2010. Police will be enhancing their presence and conducting enforcement in school zones.

A reminder to drivers that the speed limit is 30km/hour in all designated school zones. Schools zones are in effect from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm during school days.

West Vancouver Police are also participanting in the "Back to School" traffic safety initiative developed through Preventable.ca. 

Police encourage drivers to obey speed limits and use extra caution to ensure the safety of students returning to school.
