A Kelowna man reported missing in West Vancouver has been found in Vancouver.

49 year old Alan Arcand was reported missing after a rental car associated to him was found abandoned in a shopping mall parking lot September 22, 2009.

Vancouver Police were contacted Sunday after workers at a homeless shelter identified Arcand from a publicly circulated photo.   

Arcand was also subject of a warrant issued in relation to a Kelowna RCMP investigation.  

Vancouver Police advised Arcand was taken into custody without incident and is being held for an appearance at Vancouver Provincial Court this morning.

The West Vancouver missing persons investigation is concluded.
