The West Vancouver Police Department has unveiled the long awaited interactive website that will allow the department to communicate beyond all international boundaries.

On Friday August 15th 2008, Chief Constable Kash Heed of the West Vancouver Police Department realised his vision of engagement and communication beyond any policing border with the advent of the innovative, proactive and interactive new web portal.

Months of planning have created a ground breaking website that allows access to the West Vancouver Police Department on an unprecedented level.

Available for review are cold case murder investigations, mug shots of wanted criminals, media reviews, opportunities for employment and the ability to send a complimentary note or to make a complaint.

In addition, residents of West Vancouver can receive up-to-date accurate crime data through E-Policing.

E-Policing is a system that creates a partnership between the community and the police that is designed to enhance the two-way sharing of information. E-policing will give residents the chance to follow crime trend data in the quickest format possible through crime mapping technology.
