West Vancouver Police investigate boat thefts
The West Vancouver Police has received more than eight complaints recently of theft from boats and one theft of a boat. The complaints have originated from the 5700-hundred block of Marine Drive and all the way west to the 6900-block of Isleview Road.
The West Vancouver Police want area residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious vehicle/s , vessel/s person/s and or activity. The person or persons responsible have stolen items such as handheld tools, jerry cans filled with gasoline, an inflatable kayak, a LCD television set, binoculars, downriggers, liquor and a 19-foot Zeda which was stolen in West Vancouver and subsequently recovered in Surrey on the Fraser River (the hull identification number was tampered with and overwritten).
