The West Vancouver Police and the BC Coroners Service are requesting the public’s assistance
The West Vancouver Police and the BC Coroners Service are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a male whose remains were discovered in the water near the shore of Burrard Inlet, not far from Lighthouse Park. His body was found on the September 1, 2011; he is believed to have died within a very few days of his discovery.
This individual is Caucasian and was likely between 50 to70 years of age at the time of his death. He is approximately 5’9” and close to 200 pounds. His badly decayed front teeth would have been obvious to acquaintances when laughing or smiling.
He was balding, with medium length white hair. He had a white, trimmed, full beard with salt- and-pepper areas on the chin and sides. His moustache and eyebrows were darker coloured.
At the time of his death he was wearing dark pants; a vertically striped long sleeved shirt in colours of black, gold, rust and green; black socks; and unique black boxer shorts with a polar bear pattern.
