Suspect requests money for illegally downloading pornography
 

Sept 6, 2011, the West Vancouver Police received multiple reports of suspicious letters, sent to West Vancouver seniors, threatening them with lawsuits for illegally downloading pornography.
 

The writer threatened legal action unless a settlement cheque for $3000 was paid to:

West Vancouver, B.C.
V7T 1B9
 

The West Vancouver Police are actively investigating these incidents and are advising residents NOT to send any money to this address.
