A bus driver attempting a U-turn caused a brief traffic disruption on Cypress Bowl Road this morning.

 

The driver was the only person on board when turn was attempted in the 3700 block of Cypress Bowl Road.
 

The driver apparently misjudged the bus position during the manoeuvre and the effort ended with the bus lodged partially in the ditch. There were no injuries.
 

The bus was towed back on to the road and driving lanes were re-opened within approximately 20 minutes.


Officers confirmed the bus was undamaged and the driver has been allowed to resume the trip.
