Student Work and Advisory Team

Do You Have What It Takes To Become A Member Of West Vancouver Police Student Work and Advisory Team?

The West Vancouver Police have teamed up with local youth student volunteers to work and represent the Police Department at various community events.

The West Vancouver Police are very proud of all our student volunteers..  If you are a registered grade 8 to grade 12 student of a West Vancouver public or private school this fall and are looking for an important and fun volunteer commitment, we want to hear from you.

The primary goal for all student volunteers is to represent the West Vancouver Police Department on various community events while engaging the public. Some of the events the volunteer team will be participating in are:  the Annual Family Carnival, Community Day, Coho Festival, Crime fighting initiatives and safety various campaigns i.e Pedestrian Safety.

As one of our Police youth volunteers,  you may have even better ideas for events or activities that can help promote a greater understanding between West Vancouver Youth  and Police, thus  building stronger  relationships between the Police and Youth.

The West Vancouver Police Student Work and Advisory Team hold regular meetings to discuss community agendas and also issues faced by young people in West Vancouver.   The Student Work and Advisory Team are one of many  voice of our West Vancouver.

Applications for the Student Work and Advisory Team are available in September at your school and at the West Vancouver Police Department.
