Business Watch

What is Business Watch?

Business Watch is a Crime Prevention Program that provides local businesses the opportunity to work with the West Vancouver Police Department. The following is available to participating businesses:

  • Access to current crime trends, crime alerts and/or any other statistical information pertinent to that particular business.
  • Access to Crime Prevention presentations.
  • West Vancouver Police Department access to after hours emergency contact numbers.
  • Participating businesses have the opportunity to report any problems they may be experiencing (e.g. shoplifting, fraud, vandalism, etc.).

Business Watch is a free service and an invaluable tool that the police use daily.  Business Watch sign-up applications are submitted by e-mail or in writing.  Upon receiving an application or written submission, the participant's information is entered into an in-house computer system, which is only accessible by West Vancouver Police Department personnel.
